Camps and Outdoor Education Centres are for everyone.

At the OCA, we know that camp is a life-changing and important life experience for Canadian youth. Some families need support to provide this experience for their camper- and that’s where subsidies and financial supports come in!

Subsidies provide campers from low-income families and/or campers with special needs the ability to experience all that camp has to offer! There are many organizations affiliated with the OCA that offer support – be advised that each organization has policies in place for how they distribute funding.

Funding Resources & Support for Campers Who Have Special Needs

**When looking for assistance with summer camps or outdoor education centres, please contact individual camps and outdoor education centres to see if they offer any specific funding, and refer to the Find A Camp or Outdoor Education Centre tool to search for a camp or outdoor education centre that provides subsidies.
** Funding organizations/foundations/camps provide specific information for you to determine the options which best meet your needs. Many of these organizations only supply funds once.
