Northway (girls) and Wendigo (boys)
- Camp
Located within Algonquin Park is Canada’s oldest girls camp, Camp Northway. Northway offers girls a traditional camping experience that includes a focus on canoe-tripping, along with swimming, sailing, kayaking, arts and crafts, dramatics and a nature program. The in-camp staff to camper ratio is 1:3 and 1:1 on canoe trips. Living in our wilderness setting and making lasting friendships since 1906, girls return to their summer home for many years.
Wendigo, a separate boys camp, offers a unique canoe-tripping program within Algonquin Park. With a focus on boys age 12-16, Wendigo provides the opportunity to travel throughout Algonquin Park–7653 square kilometres of protected wilderness–learning outdoor skills that will last them a lifetime.
