Camp Tawingo
- Camp
We have fun building great kids!
Family owned and operated since 1961, Camp Tawingo offers unplugged summer fun in Muskoka, Ontario. Youthful in spirit yet mature in judgment, our staff are home-grown, fully and carefully-trained, highly motivated, and supremely caring. Ask any one of our staff what they are doing for the summer and they will say, “I’m in the construction business.” Ask what they are building, and they will say, “Great kids!” Such is their purpose and passion.
We take immense pride in our 270 acre site of mixed forest, field, stream, lookout, beach, and lake; as well as in our unique daily schedule, wildly creative programs, delicious and nutritious food, and fully-equipped cabins (with washrooms).
Camp Tawingo helps campers learn to live in harmony with one another and in the out-of-doors, offering each one every opportunity for choice, free-play, and the forming of lifelong friendships. Campers are at the centre of everything we think, say, and do.
