Cairn Camp: Glen Mhor & Iona

Focused around the guiding principles of safety, stewardship, servanthood, and self-esteem, Cairn provides a welcoming, supportive community where children and teens can learn, grow, and create lifelong friendships. For 95 years through creativity, music, and play, Cairn’s qualified staff have provided an atmosphere which fosters the personal and spiritual growth of every individual and provides campers with a home away from home. Situated on 197 acres of beautiful Muskoka wilderness, Cairn offers the following programs:

  • Glen Mhor Program – A small group based overnight camp experience, where campers sleep in cabins and have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities from kayaking to ukulele lessons to high ropes.
  • Iona Tripping Program – Offering week long wilderness canoe trips, campers will immerse themselves in the natural world while paddling routes throughout Muskoka and Northern Ontario.
  • Integration Program – Open to both children and adults, Cairn’s integration program provides individualized support to individuals with disabilities so they can thrive in the camp environment.
  • Leadership Programs – Providing teens an opportunity to grow their skills and develop into compassionate, caring leaders. Cairn offers both week long and month long leadership programs.
  • All-Ages Programs – Offering a variety of weekend retreats in the spring, summer, and fall these programs welcome those of all ages to experience the life-changing impact of camp.

Owned by the Presbyterian Church in Canada Cairn’s mission is to share God’s love by building opportunities for campers to create connections and foster growth in an inclusive, affirming, outdoor environment.
