Outdoor Centre Facilitator (Fall) 

Reports To: Outdoor Centre Director 

Fall Pay Rate: $152.00/day ($19/hour) + room & board 

Fall Contract Dates: September 1- October 31, 2026 

Location: RKY Camp, Parham, ON 

Job Description: 

Outdoor Centre Facilitators will facilitate all aspects of the RKY Camp Outdoor Centre program as directed by the Outdoor Centre Director and Assistant Director. Facilitators will deliver program instruction, interact directly with children, and provide positive customer service to schools, rentals and retreats. Facilitators will deliver experiential, participant focused programming with students for elementary and high schools, as well as adult groups. They will provide support in the kitchen duties, facility maintenance and site upkeep as required. Facilitators will be trained in all program areas at camp and will execute programming following all risk management, policies, and procedures, and will work within the scope of their training. 

Responsibilities: 

• Facilitate and deliver engaging, experiential programs for elementary and high school students, as well as adult groups, in line with RKY Camp’s participant-focused philosophy. 

• Interact directly with participants, fostering a positive and inclusive environment. 

• Provide excellent customer service to visiting schools, rental groups, and retreat participants, acting as a welcoming and approachable point of contact. 

• Assist in maintaining safety and program quality by following all risk management, policies, and procedures as trained. 

• Support kitchen duties, facility maintenance, and site upkeep as needed to ensure smooth camp operations. 

• Collaborate with other facilitators and supervisors to deliver a consistent and cohesive program experience. 

Required Certifications: Standard First Aid with CPR-C, National Lifeguard 

Preferred: ACCT Level 1 or 2, Pleasure Craft Operators Card, ORCKA Canoe/ Kayaking
