Honorary Life Members

Trailblazers, pioneers, and innovators. Meet the camp leaders whose determination and grit have strengthened the Ontario camping industry.

For their dedication to passing down one of our province’s greatest traditions to generations of campers, participants, and counsellors, these industry innovators have a permanent place in the OCA community.

To receive an Honorary Life Award, nominees must meet the following criteria:

• 10 or more years of distinguished service in the field of camping.
• Held positions on the OCA Board or have chaired OCA committee(s), task force(s) or special project(s) for at least 10 years.
• Held an executive position of a camping organization or agency for at least 10 years.
• Retired from active service in camping or reached 55 years of age.
