Newcomer Program

Our Newcomer Program provides a free one or two-week session at an OCA Accredited Camp for families with a child or children between the ages of 4-15 that arrived in Canada in 2018, 2019, 2020 or 2021. These placements are possible thanks to the generosity of OCA Approved Camps.

There are a variety of Newcomer Program placements available across Ontario, subject to availability.

You may request either a day or an overnight camp that offers the following programs:

  • specialty camps
  • religious or non-religious camps
  • all boy, all girl, or all gender
  • 1 week or multi-week camps

This program is temporarily on hold. We will be updating the list of camps providing placements for the Newcomer Program on this page for the summer of 2022.
