Waterfront Head

Position: Waterfront Head

Dates: Pre-Camp Training Week & 5 Camper Sessions (July 4 – August 13)

Opportunities for start as early as June 6 and extension until September 5th.


Minimum Certifications:

  • NLS (Current or willingness to obtain)
  • Standard First Aid & CPR-C (Current or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Criminal Background Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Two years experience in a camp leadership role
  • Two years experience in a lifeguarding position


  • Provide staff and camper supervision/support/evaluation.
  • Assist in the planning/implementation of all areas of the camp program.
  • Provide support in the day-to-day camp operations.
  • Supervising waterfront activities such as swim time, boating and other water activities
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations to ensure participant safety at the waterfront
  • Other duties as assigned

Assets (but not required):

  • Experience instructing canoeing and kayaking
  • Experience lifeguarding in a camp waterfront or outdoor setting
