Waterfront Head
Position: Waterfront Head
Dates: Pre-Camp Training Week & 5 Camper Sessions (July 4 – August 13)
Opportunities for start as early as June 6 and extension until September 5th.
Minimum Certifications:
- NLS (Current or willingness to obtain)
- Standard First Aid & CPR-C (Current or willingness to obtain)
- Current Criminal Background Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Two years experience in a camp leadership role
- Two years experience in a lifeguarding position
Responsibilities:
- Provide staff and camper supervision/support/evaluation.
- Assist in the planning/implementation of all areas of the camp program.
- Provide support in the day-to-day camp operations.
- Supervising waterfront activities such as swim time, boating and other water activities
- Adhere to all relevant regulations to ensure participant safety at the waterfront
- Other duties as assigned
Assets (but not required):
- Experience instructing canoeing and kayaking
- Experience lifeguarding in a camp waterfront or outdoor setting
