For more than 50 years, CNIB Lake Joe has been providing an exciting, safe, and accessible camp experience for people living with sight loss. CNIB Lake Joe is looking for a Virtual Program Coordinator to help us bring the magic of summer camp to life for people living with sight loss!
What you’ll do
The Virtual Program Coordinator will oversee all CNIBLakeJoe@HOME virtual programs while maintaining the highest level of guest and staff experience. This position will aid with the coordination, supervision, and facilitation of virtual programming, while keeping record of registration and guest feedback.
Assist in the recruitment, training, onboarding and support of all virtual staff and volunteers
Planning, scheduling, and implementation of all virtual programming, including Camp-in-a-Box
Communicate and update staff, volunteers, and guests of any changes to the programs
Connect with staff members on a weekly basis to ensure job satisfaction
Promote and encourage participation in programs via social media and email
Attend programs to ensure superior job performance and guest satisfaction
Ensure staff motivators are delivered in variety and consistently
Work with management to build upon positive group dynamics
Work flexible camp hours
Requirements
We want to hear from you if you have:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and problem-solving skills
Mature and professional attitude
A self-starter who is organized and detail-oriented
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Experience with organizing and delivering recreational and/or learning programs an asset
Experience with Zoom and/or other online video conferencing platforms an asset
Current (within 6 months of start date) Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check
Current Standard First Aid and CPR “C”
Personal or professional experience relating to blindness and sight loss is considered an asset
