Contract from May 1st until August 27th. Applicants are required to live on site. Remuneration of $600 per week. Room and board included.


Purpose of Position


The Camp Registrar takes part in overseeing the coordination and administration of the summer camp program including administration, processing registrations, responding to parent inquiries, social media posts,  and creation of schedules and camper groups. Duties include monitoring the camp email, answering the phone, processing payments, and working with the other head staff to ensure programming reflects the mission and values of Cave Springs Camp. The position reports directly to the Program Director.


Conditions of Employment for the Camp Registrar

That the employee:

  • Submits to a criminal reference check at their own expense no later than May 1st.
  • Agrees to the full term of employment and is available to work the appointed schedule.
  • Attends and participates fully in all Staff Training programs; the Camp Director must be notified of all schedule conflicts as soon as possible.
  • Ensures the maintenance of all policies, procedures, and guidelines of Cave Springs Camp.


Responsibilities and Expectations of the Camp Registrar


  • Ensure that all parent inquiries are answered in a polite and timely manner.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure that all registrations are complete in time for camp.
  • Send out social media posts and email updates.
  • Work with other head staff to create cabin groups, and ensure that all medical details are communicated.
  • Be present at Camper sign in and sign out to process registrations and communicate with parents.
  • Assist with counsellor coverage and program facilitation when not occupied with other responsibilities. 




  • The Camp Registrar is accountable to the Camp Director and Assistant Director 
  • Ongoing direction and supervision are provided by the Camp Director and Assistant Director
