Male Summer Camp Counsellor
Founded in 1995, Safari Zoo Camp at Jungle Cat World Wildlife Park is an exciting and unique experiential education program, which specializes in hands-on learning experiences with wildlife. Participants work alongside professional Animal Care staff to look after a variety of animals, many rescued and/or threatened with extinction.
It is our hope that this relationship-building will help widen the circle of compassion, instilling the notion that all living creatures are significant and must be treated with value and respect.
We are looking for individuals 18 years of age or older that:
- Enjoy working with children and teens.
- Have an interest in wildlife and some experience with animal care (e.g.- pets).
- Are concerned about the natural world and make some effort to live in an environmentally responsible way.
- Are fun and adventurous, but still mature and responsible.
- Can provide a Police Records Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- First Aid and CPR (Level C) certified.
- Lifeguard certification is an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 weeks
Salary: $475.00 per week
