Canadian Adventure Camp is a full-service children’s summer camp located on beautiful 160-acre Adventure Island in Temagami, Ontario!  We feature a full program of 35 great camp activities, including 4 specialty programs, with campers and staff from around the world!  Canadian Adventure Camp is the summer camp home to 140 children and youth, aged 5 through 17 years.

Due to our island location and multitude of water activities, we require qualified lifeguards (NLS desirable, Bronze Cross essential) to ensure camper safety at our waterfronts. Our lifeguards are also our counseling staff, meaning the role is very diverse and there is never a dull moment. Whether guarding at a waterfront, hanging out in the cabin, or leading an Archery session, our counselors are there to support our amazing campers and help to provide a safe and unforgettable experience.

As an activity leader for all of our non-specialty areas, you will get training and experience running a myriad of exciting activities. Our counseling staff must also be at least 19 years old with our all‑adult staff averaging around the age of 22 years. The position is suited to an individual ready for a challenge, and to make a difference to a child’s summer. The position is incredibly fulfilling and rewarding, and requires adaptable, resilient, and compassionate team players.
