Kitchen Staff – Overnight Girls Camp
Camp Northway, a small overnight camp for girls in Algonquin Park, is looking for Kitchen Staff.
We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, team-oriented staff to prepare snacks and meals for campers and staff.
Under the direction of our Head Chef, the Kitchen team works together to prepare food, clean up, and interact with campers as needed. Cooking at Camp Northway is a unique experience with no electricity, we cook on a wood-burning stove, and prep food by hand.
Our kitchen staff are very much a part of camp life. Just like our campers and counsellors, you’ll live in a platform tent at camp.
Food Handler’s Certification required, Standard First Aid and WHIMIS certifications an asset.
Salary is variable, dependent on prior experience and additional qualifications, and includes room and board.
Dates of Employment are June 21 to August 24, 2023.
