Full-Time Food Services Team Leader – 1 year contract with possibility of extension
YMCA Camp Pine Crest is located on 650 acres in Muskoka, Ontario. The facility operates year-round with a large overnight summer camp program, summer day camp programs, growing winter programs and busy spring and fall outdoor centre seasons.
This is a full-time 1 year contract; $41,750 yearly + 10 vacation days, and benefits – living on site is an option as well! There is an opportunity that this could be extended as well.
YMCA Camping and Outdoor Education offers outdoor experiences that foster personal growth and build community. After taking part in our programs, children and youth return home more confident, independent, and with new friendships.
The Food Services Team Leader will work year round with the Food Services Director to manage the overall food service operation at our year round outdoor centre and summer camp, including preparation and delivery of all meals, supervising team members, ordering food and kitchen supplies, maintaining equipment, and managing the food service budget. The Food Service Team Leader should be comfortable working in an industrial kitchen and maintaining all regulations and standards that relate to food service. The Food Service Team Leader is expected to be flexible, willing to take on new projects, work well with others, provide healthy meals, support a variety of dietary requirements, and eager to train staff in a fast paced, energetic environment.
