Job Description

Kitchen Staff are responsible for the daily operation of MHO Adventures Food Service to meet and exceed standards of service and quality.  This role will assume production and operational responsibility for our commercial kitchen. 

Main responsibilities include:

  • Provide excellent customer service and professional communication at all times with clients, suppliers, visitors, and employees.
  • Plan menus, prepare and serve meals for up to 20 people onsite (MHO guides & students)
  • Food orders & Shopping
  • Preparing and packing out of expedition food
  • Food deliveries
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment
  • Ensure all Food Safety regulations are strictly adhered to at all times.
  • Effectively utilizing maturity and role modeling, facilitate positive peer interactions, foster and promote a cooperative working environment, maximizing productivity and employee morale.
  • Drive a high performance culture in the kitchen.
  • Other tasks as appropriate.
