INSTRUCTOR
Evans Lake’s exploration-based forest education & outdoor recreation makes us unique among camps. Are you inspired by towering trees, early-morning paddles, discovering networks of underground fungi, and transformative experiences? Are you ready to inspire the next generation’s curiosity in the outdoors? Instructors lead a mix of forest education (our Eco-Fun courses) and outdoor recreation (canoeing, rock-climbing, hiking, low ropes), lifeguard at the swim dock, orchestrate campfires, and so much more – all in the same day! Given that all staff stay onsite at the Evans Lake Forest Education Centre while camp is in session, the action never stops and applicants should enjoy working in an ever-changing and dynamic work environment. Very strong organizational and interpersonal skills are a must, as well as a yearning for an endless summer! Love theme lunches, high fives, and hands-on outdoor experiences?
