Canoe Trip Staff – Pathfinder, Algonquin Park

Canoe trip throughout Algonquin Park this season!

Pathfinder is a canoe trip camp for boys ages 7 – 16. We are interviewing young men age 18 for hire this season to join the trip staff as second guides. Become a Pathfinder head trip guide by experience and training with our program as a second guide, or ‘Second Man.’

Second Men report to Pathfinder June 24 and the summer program concludes Aug. 20. There are 3 positions available this season. Salary is competitive, training certs. provided along with room/board, and chance for promotion to head guide and shoulder-season outdoor education instructor.

In your role you will be a camp counsellor and will help organize and conduct canoe trips in Algonquin Park from a few days to two weeks’ length.

Prior experience is a bonus. The camp can provide wilderness first aid and lifesaving certification or recerts. if needed.
