Canadian Adventure Camp is a full-service children’s summer camp located on beautiful 160-acre Adventure Island in Temagami, Ontario! We feature a full program of 35 great camp activities, including 4 specialty programs, with campers and staff from around the world! Canadian Adventure Camp is the summer camp home to 140 children and youth, aged 5 through 17 years.

The counselor position is very much the ‘Jack/Jill of all trades’ role, and there is never a dull moment as a counselor at CAC. First and foremost, counselors are there to support our amazing campers and help to provide a safe and unforgettable experience. They are the activity leaders for all of our non-specialty areas, and will spend their days leading a myriad of activities. Due to our island location and multitude of water activities, all must be qualified lifeguards by the June 23rd start date (NLS desirable, Bronze Cross essential). Our counseling staff must also be at least 19 years old. These positions are typically filled by Canadian and international staff in their early 20’s who are ready for a challenge, and to make a difference to a child’s summer. The position is incredibly fulfilling and rewarding, and requires adaptable, resilient, and compassionate team players.
