Full time, seasonal fromJune until mid-September at girls’ overnight sports camp. Assist with meal preparation and service under the direction of the Head Chef. Experience cooking for larger numbers preferred (i.e. approx. 100 meals three times daily.) Prepare special orders; Inspect kitchen and food service areas; Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods; Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards; Bake mixed dough and batters; Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders; Operate machinery. Strong work ethic, good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team an asset. Pay based on 7 hours per day for six days a week. One day off per week.
Room and board provided.
Culinary degree (Baking/Pastry) an asset; Certified in safe food handling
