The Taylor Statten Camps are Canada’s oldest fourth generational family-run traditional summer camp. We are located on Canoe Lake in Algonquin Provincial Park. The camp is made up of Camp Wapomeo for Girls and Camp Ahmek for Boys. Our camper’s age varies from 6 – 16.
We are currently seeking one Archery Instructor for our upcoming summer season.
We are currently seeking one (1) Archery Instructor.
Archery Safety is the primary concern at the archery range, followed by ensuring the campers develop the skill for the sport and enjoy themselves while doing so. This activity head must have some significant experience with Archery and ideally 1 to 3 years of experience teaching Archery. The archery range is used by both Ahmek and Wapomeo campers, although the site for this program is at Ahmek and the Archery Instructor lives at Ahmek.
- Responsible for planning and teaching Archery classes for children ages 6 -16
- Previous Archery experience
- Previous experience working with children an asset
- Emergency First Aid or Equivalent and CPR “B”
Compensation varies depending on experience. All positions include room, board, laundry and use of facilities.
