Job Posting
Executive Director
At Christie Lake Kids (CLK), we have a long and rich history of providing economically disadvantaged children and youth with quality year-round community and camp programs to develop physical, social and character skills. Through our summer camp and the STAR (Skills Through Arts and Recreation) programs, we deliver these in a safe, encouraging and inclusive environment. Our vibrant and committed team and Board has existed for almost 100 years and continues to flourish today. At CLK, we celebrate the differences that make us all unique and strive to make our workplace accessible however we can. Even though Covid 19 has been tough on our organization, we are immensely proud of our response, having delivered a full slate of virtual programs where we have sourced, packaged and delivered materials and supplies so our kids could actively participate. When it has been deemed possible by Public Health guidelines, we have gone back to our safe, high quality, in-person programs in small groups while wearing masks and social distancing. We have maintained a hybrid of virtual programs so that we can provide as many program opportunities as possible for our kids. Equity, diversity and inclusion practices are a pillar of CLK’s services and inform all aspects of our governance and strategic planning. The CLK Board is currently seeking an Executive Director to lead our team and to be the face of the organization with the community, key partners and stakeholders.
